Whiskers and Wags offers pet care services in the East Bay. We provide walks, in-home visits, playgroups and overnight stays at affordable rates.

Tiffany Challis grew up in New Zealand. Her father was a livestock officer who was responsible for the wellbeing of farm animals, circus animals and everything else in between. Tiffany frequently accompanied her father on trips to care for the animals.

As an adult in the Bay Area, Tiffany discovered a natural ability to bond and communicate with animals while looking after the pets of her friends and neighbors. What started as a hobby became her passion and the impetus for Whiskers and Wags.

Tiffany is the mother of a 4 year old rescued Maine Coon cat, Josie. Josie was abandoned by her previous owners and survived for six months living in the wild in San Jose. Though originally malnourished, traumatized and fearful of people, Josie is now fully rehabilitated through Tiffany’s expert care and love.
